Adam Schran, HC '98 Adam Schran graduated with honors in 1998 after completing a Relational Algebra thesis with Steven Lindell and several key classes with Dave Wonnacott. He founded Ascentive in 1999 and has grown it to a 30 person company based in Philadelphia. Ascentive publishes a variety of software products to solve everyday computer problems, including a popular internet accelerator and web accelerator, employee monitoring software, a registry cleaner, and a registry repair application. Adam says, "The company wouldn't exist without the work I did with Steven and Dave at Haverford. Their mentorship and guidance were pivotal for Ascentive's success beyond what they even know today. I should probably tell them. :)"
